A main goal of the Pacem In Terris program is to acquire the necessary support to expand the number
of full Pacem In Terris scholarships and to attract additional students to the program through a
newly added partial scholarship program.
The annual cost of educating a Pacem In Terris student for one year, including medical expenses,
transportation, and other costs, exceeds $20,000.
In addition to increasing scholarship funds to increase the number of students, Pacem In Terris has
set a goal of enhancing the relevancy of its programs so that international students receive
training that very specifically relates to the needs of their home nations…and so that American
students have new opportunities to learn abroad.
In this regard, Pacem In Terris is seeking to establish creative partnership opportunities, such as
working with various governments to host a "Diplomat in Residence" program…working with
international businesses to develop curriculum that prepares students for specific types of
employment…working with foundations to sponsor special workshops or events … and working with
organizations such as Catholic Relief Services and Peace Corps to offer internship and, ultimately,
employment opportunities for students.
Additionally, increasing enrollment increases the need for facilities, faculty and support services.
The College's recently development master plan seeks to enhance technology, faculty, and facilities
in six phases during the next 15 years.
