ABOUT LA ROCHE COLLEGE

The Sisters of Divine Providence, St. Peter Province, Pittsburgh, founded La Roche College in 1963, and named it for one of the co-founders of their religious order, Mother Marie de la Roche.

Catholic by affiliation and American by location and organization, La Roche is, in practice, a global community, where learners of many religious, national and cultural backgrounds live and learn together.

The College's Pacem In Terris program provides scholarship assistance to students from every corner of the world, including conflict, post-conflict, and developing nations. Since 1993, more than 300 young women and men from Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the Caribbean have come to La Roche as Pacem In Terris scholars to prepare for their futures and to realize peace.
